SqlQuery.From method (3 of 4)
Adds a subquery to the FROM statement, with given short name.
public SqlQuery From(ISqlQuery subQuery, IAlias alias)
| parameter | description |
|---|---|
| subQuery | A subquery |
| alias | Alias that contains the short name. |
Return Value
The query itself.
Exceptions
| exception | condition |
|---|---|
| InvalidOperationException | subQuery is an independent query with auto parameters. |
Remarks
This overload requires that alias has a table name. The subquery must share the same root query (usually built via this query's SubQuery() method). An unrelated query's parameters are not available here, so embedding it may produce completely invalid results. Independent queries without parameters are safe to embed.
