addEmptyOption(select): void

Appends an empty (placeholder) option to a <select> element.

Parameters

select

Target <select> or array-like/jQuery-like wrapper containing it.

Returns

void

Remarks

Uses SelectEditorTexts.EmptyItemText as the display text and "" as the value; delegates to addOption. Compat helper from addEmptyOption.
